Try typing 'viewports in autocad' into google or any other search engine and you will find plenty of links to tutorials. I won't go into a full tutorial here, there are already plenty online that you can find, You can change the scale of the viewports to show parts of modelspace in greater detail. You can have more than one viewport in a layout to show different parts of the modelspace. Terramodel will not except 2007 dwg's unless you have the latest update though, it will crash pretty hard if you don't, but that isn't going to be your problem. They can show the whole of modelspace or just selected parts of it. pro format natively but will export a dwg, honestly I have never had many problems inserting Terramodel dwg's into AutoCAD and I have done it hundreds of times. ![]() Viewports can be described as windows in paperspace layouts that show what you have drawn in modelspace. There is no need to copy your drawing from modelspace into a layout, you draw it in modelspace and then use viewports to see it in the layout, you usually plot from the layout as well. It seems that you need to learn how to use viewports.
